SAP SRM 7 how to protect your investment in SAP SRM

If you had invested in your SAP SRM system then it is wise to get returns before you invest in other future system. Here is how,

-Use  this time to investigate your business processes
-Identify key business challenges
- Existing system could be used to proto type / sanbox those improvement ideas
- Offload the back end system related enhancement and make more technology agnostic changes if any planned (i.e. avoid hard wiring / hard coding)

The SAP SRM has the license life till 2025 (latest EHP), which means the organisation with complex (and highly complex) development can plan and prepare for the transition to new generation supplier relationship management applications (Ariba, S/4) with block by block approach.

Large organisation may need a time to migrate and stablis in new house, it is crucial that they plan such big migrations.
