SRM solution in-premise or hosted/cloud
The recent buzz around the corner is cons/pros of SRM solution as in-premise or hosted as cloud solution.
If you ask my opinion SRM 7 looks more stable and good investment to have in-premise rather than hosted/cloud solution. However opinion may differ organisation to organisation and specific requirements.

SRM Catalog- Inhouse or hosted or punchout
The main advantage of SAP SRM is indirect buying using catalog.
The main question is to have inhouse solution (SAP MDM ) or hosted (SAP Ariba Content Management / Hubwoo / others ) or punchout (via OCI interface).
